We found that matching the main door’s look to the garage door was nearly impossible, so we hired a painter to help us achieve the perfect match — and the results were incredible! The painted door looked just like natural wood.
Next, we removed the wall between the kitchen and living room to create a spacious open-concept layout. We also added a pantry to keep the kitchen clutter-free and a coffee bar in the hallway to maximize space in the kitchen. The coffee bar can even be converted into an entertainment bar when hosting guests!
Finally, we added a playroom above the garage, which was a big hit with the kids! We installed a “secret tunnel” in the roofline to connect the kids’ bedrooms with the playroom, so they can access their special hideaway without traveling downstairs.
