Project Scope
Action Builders has constructed a rear kitchen addition in Mt. Lebanon, designed to significantly expand this South Hills home’s living and functional spaces. This project triples the size of the existing kitchen, creating room for extensive cabinetry, a large center island, a coffee bar, and a bright breakfast seating area.
The former dining room has been transformed into a modern home office, providing the family with a flexible workspace while maintaining a seamless flow between rooms. We also added a maintenance-free composite deck off the existing structure, allowing the family to enjoy beautiful days in the Pittsburgh area. Alongside the addition, we updated parts of the existing home, including replacing siding, updating flooring, and modernizing electrical systems.

The front of the house has been upgraded with new siding to match the addition, creating a cohesive exterior look. Foundation and blockwork began in October, and the project wrapped up in February.
