In Beaver, PA, a family was living in a beautiful ranch house; they loved their home but found it wasn’t fulfilling all of their needs. The house had square footage and lots of potential, but the family couldn’t practically use all of the space and it didn’t flow with their lifestyle.
Their formal dining room went unused, the kitchen was cramped, and the master bedroom needed to be expanded. The owners decided to address their pain points with creative solutions.
The remodel required the prospective contractor to have a design-build process so they could complete the work from planning through completion, and keep the owners up to date throughout the home remodeling process.

The master bedroom was expanded to accommodate a master bath, featuring a custom shower and makeup vanity. In addition, opening up the space allowed for the installation of a linen closet.
The kitchen’s load-bearing walls were relocated to enlarge the kitchen and create a more functional flow for the family’s needs. Features included new luxury vinyl tile flooring, Hardie Board siding, and custom-built cabinets.
The formal dining room was refinished into a mudroom which the family really wanted, and custom benches and lockers were added for useful storage. As a bonus, Action Builders were able to install a doorway between the mudroom and garage. Before the remodel, there wasn’t direct access from the house to the garage.

The final product was exactly what the owners wanted. Their ranch home was now fully functional to their needs while remaining stylish. They love the open space of their new kitchen and master suite. They weren’t sure about making such a drastic change in the kitchen area, but Action Builders was dedicated to completing the project as designed. Now they couldn’t imagine their space without it!
